Default I may have cracked some ribs!

I fell down and may have cracked a rib or ribs.

I was examined by the doctor and need to get an X-ray.

This is an incredibly painful, burning and aching pain.

I was given Soma, Naprosyn and told to take it easy.

Anyone else crack a rib before?

I fractured two ribs when I was in the Army, then about a week later I caught an unfortunate case of Bronchitis. There's not much you can do, just take it easy and your ribs will eventually heal on their own. It's a terrible pain, I know, but you'll be fine and back to your old self in a few weeks.

Ouch! I hope you feel better. But rest easy and don't push yourself too soon.

Thank you both. You two have helped me feel better. I really feel low, in pain and alone.

Owie. I hope you heal quickly... In the meantime you should relax and put a good movie on or something.

Rythm's right. Treat yourself well, relax, and watch a movie... just make sure it's nothing too funny or too sad! Laughing won't help your sore ribs, and neither will sobbing! Definitely something that will make you feel all good inside though, raise your spirits some. And when it's done, come bounce around here some to cure any boredom you have.

Prayers for a speedy recovery and that that someone or something is just around the corner to help you with being low and alone.

You've made me remember a time when I had abdominal surgery years ago. It hurt so much to laugh. I held a pillow to my stomach for support when I did and it still hurt. The nurses in the hospital must have thought they were helping when they turned on a Fresh Prince episode (told you it was a while ago). I laughed and cried and winced from pain. It did take my mind off of the misery of being in pain, though.

Take care and you will heal faster than you think!

I fractured a rib once too I know it hurts, but you'll be back to your old self in a bit!
