Hey everyone,
I am a new member here and I have a problem with overeating. I am currently a college student and I often find myself eating WAY too much. When I go to the cafeteria I will keep eating and eating and I don't know why. All of our meals are buffet style so that doesn't help either. I get to a the point of fullness and yet I keep on going and I don't know why...it almost seems like I like the feeling of being extremely full and ready to pop, but I always feel sick afterward. I don't have a problem with eating to many desserts or anything because I don't like eating sweet food...I always crave salty fatty foods. I have recently started to workout with a friend but I know this will not help me lose weight unless I can get control of this behavior. Any suggestions on how I can stop this would be very helpful...

i had the same problem in college. we had the eating plan when you lived in campus and two cafeterias with the two buffets. my friends would eat pizza, fries, cereal, cake, etc etc. what i had to start doing was only go to the sandwich bar and make a sandwich and also use the salad bar. i wouldn't even bother looking at the hot bar stuff or the desserts. i just knew it wasn't going to be an option. i had to force myself to walk on by without looking.

when days were really tough, i would just go to subway we had on campus. can't do too much damage with a sub.
