I'm on the weight loss journey that WILL WORK! It includes diet and exercise. My dogs are helping.... even if they are greyhounds and definately don't need to lose weight. LOL They'll help more when it's not as cold.

I've seen this site quite a bit, but haven't spent much time on the forums. Decided it was time to join and introduce myself. I am also blogging like a madwoman on LJ under Tsuni_Night.
I'm currently doing a Mar 1 - Apr 2, 2010 mini challenge to lose 10 lbs. SO far 2 lbs down! WOOHOO. I just started this weight loss get your butt healthier and in shape (round is not an acceptable shape unless I plan on turning into a bowling ball) Feb 1, 2010. I started this whole decision because I've let stress and lazyness win for far too long... and I started feeling like crap and my Dr threatened to send me to a bariatric surgeion. I also found out I have high blood pressure, high cholesterol, Insomnia (already knew this), and too much stress (definately already knew this too).
I started this journey before in 2006 after my mom had a tripble bi-pass. I lost about 60 lbs and got a "promotion". The promotion ended up being miserey encarnate. I let stress and no sleep (all work related) get the better of me along with the lazies. I gained it all back + a bit. Now, I have my stress management under far better control and I have personal health issues and a rather large dislike of what I see in the mirror to motivate me.
My fiance is some of my best support. I adore him for it.
I live in Omaha, NE (in case there are any locals who would want to maybe get in contact to support each other). I have two greyhounds, a cat, and a well trained fiance. I love them all!
