Default Who else is APPLE SHAPED?!

I am more apple shaped and pist off that I that I cant lose this stomach! I work out and even do P90X and my stomach is still a little pudgy. It appears bloated and I am wondering if anyone else has this problem and what are you doing about it? I have heard that less bread is good for people who hold midsection weight. In my picture I am turned to the side because I hate my stomach! I am small with a big tummy. lol. I am considering lipo and a tummy tuck because it comes back if I eat what I want for 1 week! I have 4 kids so Its a little harder and Im not narrow minded and feel like surgery is only for "lazy" ppl. I am small and love everything about my body except my abdominal area. I am at a loss. Anyone try the "belly fat diet" does that work for mostly your abs?

Me! I've had this lower belly bump for all my life, even at my thinnest. And it's a hard lump of belly, which means, (unfortunately) that it's probably behind the muscle, close to my vital organs. Sucks.

LOL Oh yeah, I'm a total apple. I need to lose a ton of weight, but I gain nearly all of it in my tummy. I won't go into how much this pisses me off. LOL BUT whatcha gonna do? Generics + bad habbits and all.

I'm an apple too, and the stomach seems to be the last area where I ever lose, and the main area where I want to lose. I hate that! Buying clothes, especially pants, has always been hard, because I need bigger sizes to accomodate the stomach, but then the hips and thighs are baggy because I don't fill them out. I could lose 50 lbs and still be wearing the same size jeans. Ugh! Clothes are not manufactured for people like me! LOL I can't wait to see the replies you get in hopes there will be some good advice we can all learn from. :-)

I think that trying low or lower carb is worth a try. I think it has a fair chance of surprising you, and if not, you can always go back to your usual diet.

Plus, even on someone like me with a more hourglass/pear shape, the flat stomach comes with the last 5-10 pounds, which is near or where you're at.

Finally, a truly excellent, truly uplifting bra makes a huge difference in how your abdominal area looks. It's the best crash diet ever.

LOL the bra thing was funny. I was a DD and now that Im so small Im a B! omg. My breasts are so small its ugly. They dont look like breast any more and I have to wear bikinis with great support because they look like saggy bags lol. Im getting implants to be a C and wear any shirt or bikini I want without worrying if my big push up bra will show. It I had B breast that sat up I would care though. But Im going to try low carb for sure.
