Default When did you get back to work after gastric bypass?

I'm ten days out, and this is so much harder than I expected.

I went to three (out of seven) of my classes this week because I absolutely had to. Boy it was hard. I'm having trouble just walking the block it takes to get to my bus stop. And after one class, I'm done. I couldn't go to the others. Just too exhausted. I had a midterm today, which I think I blew because I just couldn't think straight.

How long will I have this problem? I know everyone's different. I get that. Is this because of the surgery wearing me down, or is this a caloric deficit taking its toll? And if it is a calorie thing, when will I be able to eat enough calories to get me through a day?

I know I'm only ten days out, but I really feel helpless right now, and it's really bringing me down.

I was back at work in 2 weeks, but the exhausted easy, kinda dizzy lasted about a month. I am lucky cause my work understood and i would take breaks and lay down in our break room a couple times a day. you could be pushing yourself too hard too early, talk to your doc about it. as for the calorie thing, I had to do a liquid diet for 3 weeks after surgery, and i am still only eating about 700 calories a day, and its been 4 months. However I do not get as dizzy and tired as i did that first month or so.
