Default Hi!

I started weight watchers again on January 4, 2010. I don't know how many times before I have joined, but this time I think I am going to stay with the program. The main motivation I have for joining is the health concerns for my husband and myself. My mother died from diabetic complications and having watched what she went experienced I know I had to do something when my husband would not exercise and eat properly.

Happily, my husband has lost 10 pounds and I have lost 16 since starting our new journey. We have been going to the gym 4-5 times a week and we both feel revived. We are taking it one day at a time and some days are pretty hard to not cheat. I know that if we don't stay serious about getting healthy that all our bad habits will catch up with us.

Welcome aboard. Congrats on your loss to date. I've been on WW before and loads of people are on it at work. It can work if you work it and it sounds like you are so GO GO GO! See you around.

I am glad I saw your thread. I just joined WW again last Tuesday for the umpteenth time. I too want this to be the last. So far so good but usually the first 3 weeks for me on any diet is great and then if I slow down I usually quit. My problem with any diet is longevity. That is why I am glad I found this site. I am going in the right direction. Congrats on your losses to day. WTG!

Thanks for all the great encouragement. I weighted today and now I am down 17.5 lbs and my husband is down 13 lbs. I also have a problem with longevity, so I hope this time will be different.
