Default Here we go again....

Alrighty, I'm back. I originally joined back around October and at that time my weight was about 179 and my goal was 132. In the few weeks that I was here, I had been successful in getting down to 169. i was so thrilled!

But alas, it ddin't last very long. Started a new job at the beginning of November, moved mid-Nov, then tack on the holidays and I gained, gained, gained! At the start of the year, I joined a Bikram yoga studio and started on a 60-day challenge. I was back in the swing of things, doing my yoga everyday and feeling great. Until I hyper-extended my knee. After 2 weeks of still trying to manage classes, I finally had to face facts and and do what was best for my knee. I had to stop the challenge and give up yoga, at least for a little while. But not having that daily activity, along with the depression of letting myself down by not being able to finish the challenge I had set for myself, what little I had started to accomplish and lose, quickly came back.

I am now at 196. but ready to start trying again. I just bought 'the Belly Fat Cure' and am going to be starting it tomorrow. I've found a really great thread on it here and seems that numerous people have had really good success. Can't wait to come back around and hopefully tell of my own successes again. It really does make a difference having a forum like this and I should've known better than to stop coming around in the first place.

Off to go do my shopping and start tomorrow fresh and new....Please wish me luck!

Lots of luck Carrieanne! You've had a few setbacks, but they are behind you now and your head is in the right place. I sympathize with the hyper extended knee injury. I love yoga too, but can't practice now because of a hyper extended wrist. It's been a couple of months and I'm finally able to gingerly bear a little weight. Hope your knee heals more quickly than my wrist.
