Default Not as bad as previously thought

I sat down with my advisor today and after some tears and frustration, I realized I should be able to be done with school (and the credential program) in 3 1/2 years. I thought it was going to take me at least 5 more years just to graduate before I even got close to the cred. program. So, it was a pleasant surprise. THEN... if I decided to go that route, I could be done with my masters in 5 years total. So, I could be teaching and finished with my masters by the time I'm 27. Not as ideal as some, but for changing my major twice and getting stuck at the junior college for two years, its not so bad. Hooray me

Thats awesome. I was told I have another four years of school left and would be able to get out by them time I'm twenty six if I add two summer semesters.

It took me 8 years to graduate from college but when you only go half time a 4 year degree takes twice as long. Also, you know what they call someone who graduates from college at the age of 26, 27, 28? A college graduate.

Unfortunately, I'm taking the long degree route too. I have B.A., am back a school for a second one and then my masters (finger's crossed) I'll be hitting the 30 mark by the time all is said and done...... Knowing that I still have 3 or 4 more years to go is frustrating sometimes. Especially when I see my friends building wickedly successful careers and I'm stressing over midterms and papers.
