My name is Monica, but feel free to call me Moe! I am from California and LOVE taking my kids to the beach. I am 26, married, and have two wonderful kids.
I have always been the "skinny" one in my group of friends. In high school my Dr. made me take supplements to "bulk up" because my metabolism was on hyper drive and I couldn't gain weight. Fast forward ten years I don't know where it's gone! I am weighing in at 130lbs., which doesn't sound high, but put it in the context of I only weighed 126lbs at 9 months pregnant with my first, then you see the extra weight. I was 115 when I got pregnant with my second, and would like to get back down to 115, but if all goes well I want to get down to 110 lbs.
I started the South Beach Diet on Monday and have already seen some weight loss. My husband who has never mentioned my weight, got excited about my interest in losing some pounds and is doing the diet with me. He is 210 lbs. and would like to get down to 200-190 lbs.
