Hi guys! I introduced myself on here a few days ago, but didn't get much of a response so I thought I might as well do it again! LOL!
I am a married, 31 (almost 32...yikes!) year old mother of 5 yr old twin girls who are my world! I was never a heavy child and didn't start gaining weight until I was about 20 years old. Over the years, the weight has slowly crept on until I have reached a miserable, embarrassing 250 freakin' pounds! I couldn't believe it when I saw that number on the scale. I have tried to tackle my weight problem over the past few years without much success mostly due to my lack of commitment an motivation. I'm sick of feeling like a "loser" every time I decide to start and promptly quit a new diet, so now....here I am! I am hoping that you lovely people here at 3FC will be able to keep me on my toes so that I can get this weight off! I don't want my children (who will be starting Kindergarten in the Fall) to be the kids in school with the "fat mom." I don't want them to grow up with unhealthy eating habits like I did. I am going to be following a diet plan in a book I bought called "The Big Breakfast Diet" by Daniela Jakubowicz which seems to be pretty promising for me as long as I can stick with it! I have bought my groceries and plan to get started tomorrow! I am hoping that this is it for me...that this will be the plan that works! Thank you for any and all motivation you can give. I will appreciate it all!
