I was watching one of my favorite tv shows last night, The Real Housewives of Orange County, a real guilty pleasure if there ever was one. As I watched a super tense, and overly scripted, scene with Lynne Curtin
http://www.bravotv.com/the-real-hous...o/lynne-curtin and her husband, I noticed something. Now Lynne is super fit and I imagine works out alot at least that is what she implies on the show. She also sports tons of sun damage on her skin. But here's is what I noticed...she has loose, wrinkly skin on her arms!
I am somewhat self conscious of holding my arms a certain way so that you don't see the wrinkly skin on my arms. I do have some smaller bat wings going and I do think it is somewhat due to my weight loss. About 4-5 weeks ago I incorporated assisted dips on the assisted pull-up machine, in addition to my regular weight training routine. My upper arms are noticeably smaller. And I verified it by measuring them. They are down 1" around! I've always felt my arms were beefier than most people's arms but now they are becoming more defined.
Sorry about the ramble! But my point is that if Lynne Curtin's arms are toned, but still wrinkly, then I don't feel so bad about my toned and wrinkly arms. Pathetic I know...it took watching a cheesy reality show for me to have an epiphany about my arms.
