Not me. I have no issues with salt.

And what else does salt affect negatively in high doses besides blood pressure?

I don't have blood pressure issues but sometimes when I go through a period of not cooking my own food much I worry about the amount of salt I'm getting from prepared foods that I fall back on.

I watch the amount of sodium I'm eating, although I don't really track it. I'm trying to be more conscious about the amount of salt I'm eating, as too much makes me retain water like woah.

Excess salt can cause the body to retain water. The best way to deal with that is to make sure you are drinking enough water to flush it out. Say, 60 to 80 ounces a day.

Salt doesn't "cause" people to get high blood pressure. If you are someone who has high blood pressure, then salt can make your bp go up even higher, which is why people who have it need to limit salt.

Our bodies do need a certain amount of sodium to be healthy. I figure I have enough things to track without worrying about sodium--especially since I have pretty low bp (106/56).

Not me. I've never tracked it not once.

But I also eat out very rarely and I eat very little processed foods, where excess amounts of sodium are found. Even though I do cook with it, the amounts that I'm using is negligible compared to what they throw in there at restaurants and packaged, processed, convenience foods.

Oh and I used to be on BP meds before I lost the weight, but now it's gone and I am on the low side.
