I use it in smoothies for breakfast or if I'm hungry after a workout. I use the chocolate EAS (I think), which I get at Sam's Club. I happened upon it by accident because my DH had a huge bag laying around, so I tried it.

I use it just about everyday. They kind I use I get from the hospital I work at and it has no flavor. I think its around 12gms of protein a scoop. I usually put it in my oatmeal or just drink it with skim milk after a work out for breakfest!!! Yes it does keep me full

I use it in my breakfast smoothie every morning. I got mine from walmart. I like it because it doesn't have a powder-y taste. It's Body Fortress Super Advanced. I got the strawberry flavor. I use strawberries, water and a scoop of protein. It keeps me for the morning because once I start getting dressed for work I don't have time to eat until after I get to work. By then it's time for my morning snack. I usually have about 32oz, mostly water.

I have two protein shakes a day. I use optimum nutrition chocolate as well as the nitro core protein which is a slower release protein to use inbetween meals and at night. Highly recommend doing the shakes. I mix mine with unsweetened almond milk, ice, and plain greek yogurt and it basically tastes like a milkshake. amazing!

I'm using Whey Natural Protein Shake. It's non-flavored. You can add flavor naturally with some frozen fruits. Better for you than the flavored protein powders that are loaded with sugars.

1 scoop (31g)
120calories
2g fat
2g carb
1g sugar
25g protein

I haven't made protein shakes in a long time, but they are really good. =) I used to add a scoop to a cup of plain FF yogurt, some kind of fruit (usually frozen), a sweet & low or two, and vanilla extract. I've also experimented with other extracts, like almond extract. I've seen banana, strawberry, chocolate, and orange flavorings in the spice section, too. Few to no cals in the flavorings. They make a really good snack or meal, however I stopped drinking them because I always got cold and stayed cold after I would drink it. =)

I've never been able to make whey protein work for me. No matter how hard my Vitamix works, I just can't get rid of that chalky/powdery texture! But I haven't tried one in the last 7 years, and surely they've improved since then.

BarbieGyRL... I really like your idea of the protien shake, how much almond milk and greek yogurt would you use? You also have a shake at night, like before bed kind of thing?

I love love love Isoxtrem http://www.xpncanada.com/index.php?o...d=18&Itemid=26

from XPN canada. Yeah, it's all in french, but I'm telling you the cookies and cream protien powder, sweetened with stevia (2 ingredients in the whole mixture!) is AMAZING. The only protien powder that I can drink mixed with just water. I highly recommend!

I am going to try muscle milk brand. Something for me to have right after a workout so I can promote muscle growth and health. I m not trying to be a body builder or anything but I don't mind giving my muscles a boost after a workout.

Perhaps you'll love it... but I have tried this multiple times throughout the years and it's pretty gross IMO. I *LOVE* optimum whey natural chocolate. Better for you too.
