Default Lacking my motivation... to do anything

Hey guys- I'm in need of some friendly support. I keeping stalking this site that I used to be so interactive with and I only seem to leave disappointed that I'm not on track, I can't even see a track!
I'm just at a loss for any motivation. Part of it is a lack of a clear goal and part of it is that my hubby and I are talking about having a baby- why work so hard when you may wind up preggers?

Anyway- I really want to want to get back, but I just can't seem to get it together.

Any advice?

Thanks a bunch!

If it helps any, you SHOULD work hard because you may be pregnant soon. You want to eat better and offer your (unborn) child better nutrition. You want to curb the salt habit and reduce the risk of hypertension. You want to slim down and lessen the chance of complications in pregnancy. I know it may seem like "Why work on losing weight that I'm just going to gain back" but it's not about weight... it's about HEALTH. Give your child the healthiest environment possible.

I agree, in fact that is why I am losing weight. My husband and I are going to try for another baby in about a year, so I am trying to get healthy. For me, part of my battle at getting on the right track is my love of snacking. I've since been having fun "hunting" at the grocery store for low cal snacking options. I've also been trying a lot of different "fun" exercise stuff. If I do a bunch of different stuff, it doesn't get boring as quickly.

I think trying to get preggers is a perfect excuse to get in shape! For you and the baby! PLUS -if you're body is used to working out BEFORE you get preggers, you can keep it up (as long as Dr. permits) during and lose faster post baby!!

Plus, building good habits are never bad.

Also, would you rather have 25lbs to lose or 40+ after the baby?
