honestly im not too happy about this season. My girl Paula is gone and they replaced her with a comedian. Idol is officially a joke now.

I totally watched it last night. They have a few girls that have some beautiful voices so I'm hoping they do well. But I'm just not feeling it without Paula. I'm trying to learn to like Kara, but she just doesn't do it for me. And I'm always consistently irritated by the guest judges. Why is that?

Also, anyone else feel that it's become overly scripted the last season or 2? Even the terrible singers, I almost feel like I'm watching bad actors looking for their break. I don't know. But what do I know? I was still entertained for the hour I did watch so they must be doing something right.

Hubby and I watched it-I liked that they seem to be showing more of the good singers. I don't like Kara at all. I don't know why either, she just bugs me.

I don't normally watch. but I'm watching right now. I don't know I think I could really get into it.

I don't understand how people think that they can audition to be on a national TV show with the chance of a record contract at the end, but have no real singing experience. I love how so many of the terrible terrible singers really think they have a shot. i know some people are there for the experience/show, but geez...
