Talking Thank You thread

Is there someone on here who has really motivated you and you haven't told them? Or maybe you have?

We all need encouragment... I know the thank you's people have given me usually come at a time I'm ready to give up, and they totally turn me around to the right direction!

Who would you like to say thank you too??

Default SANDI!

My first thank you is to Sandi, for coming up with the 30 Day 3 point challenge! I do not think I would be OP right now if it weren't for that challenge! You really have made this work for me, and made it so simple by breaking it down into 3 goals every day! Thanks so much for thinking of this, and leading it! You are an inspiration!

Great thread!!

YES YES! Thank You Sandi - My exercise has really been put into high gear! I even joined a yoga class at the YWCA this September - I never would have done that if it wasn't for this challenge.

Beth Anne - thank you for our chats on Yahoo - makes a big difference!! I have my step-sons right now and BA told me that sometimes we just need to put our selves first - and that it's okay to make a seperate meal for me while they are here. Those words so you said did the trick.!!!

I too would like to thank Sandi, not only for the 30 day challenge (for which I have really been drinking my water), but also just for being so very helpful and friendly

I'd like to thank Jenniffer for welcoming me with open arms!

Jenelle~ for her kind words, and making my losses mean a little more

Of course the list goes on......but It's still early in the am in these parts, so as I think of more I'll will add them.

Well, Sandi, of course, for the 30 day challenge. This has really, really helped me make exercise a priority each day. Without this challenge, I am sure I would still be at the point of always thinking about exercise, but never doing it! So, THANKS Sandi!

I also would like to thank Beth Anne for doing something she probably doesn't even realize! I think it was in the "progress pic" post that she posted a link to her personal website, & I went to it & read the list of 100 reasons she is losing weight. I could have written that list myself!!! I read it nearly every day, & it does so much to motivate me! Thanks, BA!

And this may seem rather generic, but I do honestly want to thank everyone here! You ladies have welcomed me in with open arms. Weight loss is always hard, but a good support system makes it that much easier. You guys are a WONDERFUL support system for me, so, THANKS!

I want to thank Dana for the same conversation she thanked me for!! She gave ME courage to talk to my hubby about his mom, AND helped me try Leslie Sansone, which I think is totally going to change my view of exercise!!

I would also like to thank Jenniffer, for her faithfulness to this thread, and for keeping the Birthday Lists and "Weight Loss Totals" list up to date! It is always motivating for me to see how much others have lost, and this is an invaluable tool!!

Have appreciated the inspiration of those big losers who were here when I first joined thread and who gave me the idea maybe I too could lose some weight. JML, SUE, GAYLE among them but there's the rub. I will miss many other names and many of those who inspired me since then.

I really appreciate Slimdown for starting the water thread last month. This challenge took a person who hardly ever drank water to the point where I really miss my water if I get less than 96 oz a day. They do say you can change a habit in three weeks time and I think that's what happened here. Thanks.

I would mostly like to thank Jenniffer, I know the 2 of us have been here for a few years (yikes) and it's nice to know that she has remained faithful to this group. We couldn't do it without the Water Queen!

Thanks also to Sandi, this 30 day challenge was exactly what a lot of us needed to get us going again.

Thanks to BA who I think rejuvenated this group. We were getting a bit stagnant before she came along, now we are back in the swing of things.

Also a generic thanks to all the great women who come here often and post, who bare their souls about their deepest fears and who support others when we need it most.

Boy...I hope this doesn't come out sounding like a Miss America speech!

Basically, I don't think I would be where I am without any of you. I have ridden through the rough times because I knew that all of you were out there pulling for me. This has become such a safe place for me to share everything. I never have to worry about hurtful words, but I know that I will get a kick in the arse if I deserve it.

And yeah....where IS PNG these days, anyhow....

Boy, leave it to BA to make me think.

I want to thank Jennifer for just being her. She's always there no matter what.

I also just want to thank everyone for being there. I know I would be back up over 300 if it weren't for the finest group of ladies I know. You bear your hearts, your souls, your successes and failures. Thanks!!!

I don't post as often as I should but I read EVERY DAY almost every thread, It's a lifeboat when I feel about to come undone. Thank you to all you ladies who do post often, loud and clear, I owe you a great deal. Since coming here I have lost almost 50 pounds, that is just amazing and almost unfathomable. I could not have done it without support and accountability.

Thank you every one.

Special thanks to the moderators, I moderate on a another message board, I know how time consuming it is... Special thanks to the 3FC girls who started all of this as well, I can't imagine what it's like to wake up each day knowing that you have made such a difference in so many people's lives. They all must have amazing kharma!!

Wow. I was out yesterday, ill with a sinus infection so I missed this. But glad I read it today.

I don't even know where to begin. I appreciate each and every person here. You have no idea what you do for me on a daily basis. Even if I don't reply to a certain thread, I read everything. And every word touches me.

I just hope I can at least give half of what I get from this group.

Thank you mostly to those who continue to be a part of this group nomatter what. I know how hard it is to remain dedicated even when you fell off the wagon and want to throw your hands up. But with every struggle we share, we are helping more ppl than we know.

To many names to mention, but each and every one of you are special to me, and I thank you for everything.

I want to thank everyone for helping support one another and just being there for anyone who needs it.

I also want to thank Beth Anne and Jennifer for all the great work they do as moderators of this board. I know that moderating is a wonderful experience(as I am a moderator of a few boards at different sites), as I am sure both you ladies do too.

I also want to thank my best friend Tammy(MissMew - who sometimes posts here too) for being my friend and being so supportive of myself and also my family. She is so wonderful with my kids, and her boys are so wonderful too.
