Default US Biggest Loser

Well, here we go again with another lot of severely overweight people exercising themselves to death watched it last week (not sure but think it is the first episode of the season) and one guy dropped 34lbs in a week!! granted he was over 400lbs but even so thats extreme the first guy to be booted off was a twin at the end of the show it showed his progress and he has lost 100lbs in two months its insane. I decided to watch it hoping I would get some motivation as it is inspiring watching them shrink but so far it hasn't..we'll see

I'm watching it on catch up today. I know my weight won't come off as quick as theirs but it keeps me going.

Me and my mum watch them at weekends together and they do really motivate us most of the time. But i can totally understand how it can get you down when you see them dropping 34 pounds in a week, it took me 6months to lose that much!!

You just have to take it with a pinch of salt tho. I love the trainers, but i dont care what they say it is NOT healthy. On the joints, on their skin, on their psychological state. If you go online you can see that contestants from series one have gained back more than they lost its a shame. Taking someone out of their home environment to 'change' them doesnt work, as you relax and go back home you go back to your old ways that. Slow and steady wins the race ladies

Only saw a bit of the second episode on Tuesday (my hubby hates it ) I hate the elimination part when the Mom sacrificed herself for the sake of her daughter. I always bawl when they go but yet again she'd gone on to do really well at home think she's lost over 50lbs so far It was interesting to hear what the girl said she had lost 3lbs and was really disappointed she said that she couldn't understand why she hadn't lost more because she was the first in the gym at SEVEN in the morning and the last to go out at MIDNIGHT!! One of them also said that what we see on tv is not half of what they do. So, do they exercise all day? no wonder they lose so much weight

I'm loving this series (the last couples one was bad!) but Bob REALLY annoyed me with all the tears when they switched the teams tonight. This is why Jillian always wins. She probably cares just as much about the team she had but she was straight in there with the workouts no messing about.

The bike challenge was hardcore!! I'm very impressed with them all. I can't make it through a spin class without thinking I'm going to die!
