Okay, a few of friends decided to start a thread to chart our progress. It started with a few friends who post on FB. We decided to start a thread here to take advantage of all the great tools on TFC! So I'm starting this off....
Okay ladies, we all know how to lose weight. Most of us can recite the number of calories in a candy bar, Big Mac, or our favorite Starbucks addition. We know we should exercise daily, drink more water and limit our caloric intake.....and yet we don't!
So let's take a different approach. How about we establish short term goals that will help us achieve our overall goal of losing weight! After all, we will never lose a pound unless we modify our behavior!
So we can do this several ways (I'm taking a vote here ladies!) We could
1. List our current weight (yikes!) or
2. State our goal weight
AND
3. List a monthly goal (pounds we want to lose)
4. AND list a goal that will help you achieve your over all goals.
We can then post our successes, challenges as well as report out on our goals. But most of all we have to be supportive of one another AND have fun!
I'm game for more suggestions if you have any other ideas!
