just a quickie to say hi. I've been bobbing on and off this forum for years now, but kept getting pregnant and stopping dieting and then re-piling on the pounds etc.
Well I had my third baby 3 months ago, and this is it, no more kids, I want to get serious about losing weight.
I'm exclusively breastfeeding him, and he's not a small baby (he was 11lbs at birth) so he eats a fair amount.
I'm doing the Alternate Day Diet and have 59.3lbs to lose. I started this diet on New Years day.
Welcome! I too got serious about my weight loss efforts when #3 was just a few months old. I finally accepted that I wasn't one of the lucky ones who lost weight while breastfeeding (in fact, I was going up from my post-partum weight!) and started Weight Watchers. I stuck with it and lost a good amount of weight before getting pregnant again, it's one of the best things I ever did.
