to Atkins!
I will soon be celebrating 6 years on Atkins (April 2010). The best piece of advice I can give you is, read the book BEFORE you start the program. Its essential to understanding exactly how the plan works & doing it correctly. The book should be your bible, refer to it often. Also, very important....your book should be a 2002 or prior edition. The newer books (after 2002) have been "edited" by Atkins Nutritionals Inc. after Dr. Atkins death (2003) and are not true to the way he wrote the plan. I would also strongly advise staying away from Atkins.com If you must refer to a website, Dr. Atkins wife Veronica's is true to plan....http://www.veronicaatkinsfoundation.org/
And, if you are interested in Atkins friendly low carb recipes, try....http://www.genaw.com/lowcarb/index.html
You CAN do this!!!
All the best to you!!!
