Default Eat this, Not that!

I saw the guy who wrote Eat This, Not That on tv the other day and it was CRAZY!! One bowl of Fruit Loops has less sugar than 1 bowl of Smart Start Whole Grain cereal! He also said a Quizno sub equal 5 turkey sandwiches! One Arby's Mocha shake has enough calories for 3 days if you are on a 1200 hundred calorie diet. This guy is amazing. I might just have to break down and buy the book. It sure does make you think.

I've wanted to get the book too. It's amazing what we could really be eating if we don't pay attention to labels and portion sizes

You don't have to spend money on the book - get it from the library.
Better yet, sign up for an email newsletter - I have done so a long time ago (I have always loved Men's Health magazine). I also created a folder in my Outlook where all the Eat This, Not That! newsletters are filed automatically.

You can subscribe on this webpage. Select the options that appeal to you.
Enjoy!

He has another book out in the Eat This, Not That series. It is called Cook This, Not That. It looks like an interesting book. Not sure if it is a cook book or a kitchen survival guide.

I just purchased the restaurant version of 'Eat This, Not That' for an upcoming road trip. We'll be eating out on the drive there and back and quite possibly during our visit so it should be a big help! I'm keeping it in my purse for quick reference!!!

Facinating books!

I bought 2 books from Amazon.com, used so they're cheaper. I LOVE those books! I bought the restaurant and supermarket ones and I'm waiting for the 2010 version to show up used. I LOVE these books! I plan on being the dorky person at the supermarket leafing through it while shopping

I saw this book at work and I skim through it and I thought it was amazing. I've seen him on a couple of articles on yahoo health.

I have the supermarket, restaurant, and the regular one (and I think my mom has the Kids one lying around somewhere). Just did a quick search and it turns out there's an iPhone app now! $4.99, but I think I may buy it, especially since I always have my iPod touch with me and that's easier to carry than a couple of books in my bag.

my mother in law has a couple of these books and some of it seemed... i dunno. i guess i just didn't agree with all of his suggestions. i prefer my Calorie King book, there is a restaurant guide in there & regular food too. Helps me make good decisions based on the fat and calories.
