Hello ladies So I was finally doing REALLY well and got down to 202 (-13lbs). Than comes Thanksgiving. I didnt even eat much, really! I was snacking on carrots w/ ranch before dinner. Than for dinner I had one piece of turkey, 2 small wheat rolls, baked potato and egg nog. and a piece of pumkin pie. Thank yesterday we went to a hockey game and had taco bell....I also havent worked out since thanksgiving night. than I weigh in ad 205 this morning!!! I can't freaking believe it!! 3lb gain in 2 days!!!! Im hoping to god its because TOM is coming...that brings me to a whopping 10lb loss since September. It's so irritatiing I was SO CLOSE to Onederland!!! Oh...also had nachos tonight for dinner...OUCH!! I somehow slipped the past few days!!! So tomorrow I am starting completely fresh...adding more exercise and ABSOLUTELY NO MORE BAD FOOD!!! I should be alot farther by now

Don't lose hope! You still lost 10 pounds, and that's nothing to scoff at. Remember, those three pounds could be anything! Your weight fluctuates a lot, whether from when you weigh yourself, to the food you haven't, ahem, passed yet, to your muscle retaining water. You're still doing great, don't be hard on yourself!

Hang in there and don't look on the negative side ( like I used to!) As Alice said, 10lbs is 10lbs... what if you'd gained it? The 3lbs is probably 'ballast' which you will get rid of during the day.
I spent a Thanksgiving in the US in the 1970's and as far as I remember, the general idea was to eat your own weight in food with the family I was with. A lovely bunch of people and I have such happy memoreis. Don't beat yourself up, this time next week it will be 'What 3lbs!'.

I'm sooooo in the same position as you right now I was so close to being in the 170s before Thanksgiving and I totally blew it. I ate a TON of food (not just on Thanksgiving, either) and didn't go to the gym from Wednesday for Saturday. I feel like crap - I'm really starting to notice how much of an impact eating well and exercising has on my mood and my energy levels.

But I guess the only thing we can do is to move on and get back on the wagon. I went to the gym this morning and I'm going to do my best to eat on plan today. It's tough - after eating everything I wanted for a few days, my stomach feels like it's stretched out and wants more food. We can do it, though!
