Arrow Back On The Wagon

I was previously a member on 3fc butmy comp broke and i couldnt get on asmuch untill eventually not at all.

I started out in the summer as wanting to loose 2stone or more and was a my largest and really needed to get some weight off for my 25th.

However things took a turn for the worst in almost the blink of an eye and several months down the line my doctor weighed me and hey persto im neary 2.5 stone heavier i do not know how i have done this as ny eating habbits havent changed,my only explination i can think is a weeks holiday in the summer and a period of unemployment.

im soo dissapointed i never thort it was possible i cud get bigger but it really does creep on.
Im back in business and online and joined slimming world 3 weeks ago....its been a slow process and have only lost 0.5 so far , but im persivering and getting to know the plan more each week.

Hoping to get it off, im setting no goals or time limits im taking each week at a time to get a loss

It's so easy for weight to creep on because just a few added foods can really increase the calories. Last year, due to some major problems, I gained almost 70 lbs. Now, I'm losing and I feel a lot better. Getting started is SO hard, so you did that....just hang in there....it sometimes feel slower than a snail's pace, but it's worth it in the long run. The three main things that have worked for me are: counting calories, keeping a food journal and working out 5 or 6 times a week. If you are consistent, you will see results. Well done for getting going!

Hey, girl! I know exactly how you feel. I weighed myself for the first time since the summer and gained 15-20 lbs. I was like...WHA??? How is that even possible? I still don't know what it is, but I'm blaming it on an increased intake of pop.

You'll get there! You'll just have to keep going.

And congratulations on the .5 stone! That's a real accomplishment. I remember an episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer where Buffy is about to stake this old lady at a funeral home who is about to emerge as a vampire after being bitten. Her friend is like, "Is this really necessary? This woman hardly seems a threat." And Buffy says, "One vampire at a time. That's the only way I know how."

Good luck, and keep us posted on what I'm sure will be a successful journey.
