30 Something Daily Chat Wednesday 11/25
I hope today is a half day! Sometimes our big boss at corporate will call and let us go early the day before a holiday. Hope hope hope hope...I have so much to do!
I started cooking for the big dinner last night. Had to boil four octopus tenticles then slice them up and put them in lime juice to cure. Then I spent a couple hours chopping veggies for ceviche, salad, bread pudding and appitizers. We are feeding 18 people tomorrow so we have to triple every recipe.
Last night when I left work it was a blizzard outside. When I got home I couldn't see where I was going and I planted my truck in my neighbors yard. Ooops! He had to come outside and help me get unstuck and repark my truck for me. Then this morning when I went to leave, lo and behold, stuck again. I hate snow. Have I mentioned that here before? I don't know if I've quite got the message out there yet on just how much I'm hating it this year.
So, whats everybody else up to? Getting ready for the big dinner day?
