For the last two months I've been working out and eating (fairly) well. The last week or so I've fallen off the wagon badly. Now I feel bloated, lethargic and weighed down. I was thinking about doing a cleanse to clean out my body and start over. What do you think? Anyone try anything that works?
The best cleanse for your body is just to get back on the wagon of eating healthy. Maybe have a few more servings of fruits and vegetables, but usually those "miracle" cleanses don't really do the trick, unless you want to starve your body for a few days.
If I feel like I've been extra bad, I get back on my eating wagon and also introduce some green tea and water with lemon. I think green tea is an awesome "detox" and its really good for you anyway - tons of antioxidants - water with lemon also helps to release any water retention you have going on.
