My daycare is closed for a week (massive loss of revenue)
Every time I think someone is getting better their fever comes back.
I've slept 3 hours TOTAL for the last four nights. I was SURE my daughter Maddy would be able to go to school tomorrow as she's been fever free for two days and NOW IT'S BACK.
Oh my goodness. I'm so sorry. I hope they all recover quickly and that it doesn't spread any further.
The loss of revenue is a toughie, as if everything else weren't. I hope you are able to make it up in some other ways. Hang tight. This too shall pass.
My daughter had it in the spring and we were fortunate that no one else got it. Of course now it's in the back of my mind that we're not quite done with it yet. It's just amazing how this thing has spread worse then wildfire...
Try to look at the bright side, or at least the bright-er side. At least they've all got it together instead of it dragging out and them getting it one after the other. You get it over with in one fell (though difficult) swoop.
I know, you're probably thinking where's the bright side?
That is absolutely terrible! It's kind of like dying and going to purgatory, without dying. ha. Are you saying the daycare is shut down to save money due to loss of business? wow. Can you get a teenager to come in after school and spell you? Three hours of sleep is not good. I didn't know that the fever going away and coming back again was part of this scenario of H1N1. That really sucks majorily. The only good thing, is that if you were still 377lbs...well, we can't even think about it. Ten times as bad for sure.
I think my little girl has it or some other nasty flue. She was up late with a fever and a realy croupy cough. It's making me so nervous. Hope your babies are on the mend soon.
I hope things turn around quickly for you and your family. It must feel very overwhelming with so many things all at once. Been there, had those weeks. They will pass and things will get better soon. You will be the best mommy if you take care of yourself first! Get some sleep, have someone come in so you can take a hot bath, have some tea and know you're doing everything you possibly can to handle it all.
wow, what a nasty flu season this is, I know several people who've succumbed already. Hope all the kidlets get back up on their feet soon, and biz gets back to normal.
my daycares closed because I've been mandated to close for a week if anyone gets a fever. Swine flu is RAMPANT in our area and they are trying to minimize the impact.
I actually got some sleep last night for the first time in four days and I'm feeling a wee bit better.
I've got it too Tammy (kids don't yet, but I'm waiting for it). It's just everywhere here on the Island too
NO*FUN*AT*ALL*
Hopefully, it passes for all of us quickly and safely!
Suezeeque, if a person has H1N1 and their fever goes away and they feel a bit better, and then it comes back...it's one of the MAJOR warning signs that something is wrong. It's one of the criteria for getting immediate medical attention.
What they are concerned about in those cases is that there is a bacterial secondary infection, such as pneumonia, and it's often those people who are ending up in the intensive care units on ventilators.
This thing is hitting BC really hard,
I hope everyone is safe and gets well smoothly.
