Default NSV - 14s

I was at the thrift store yesterday. I saw this cute pair of pants in a 14P, they were only $2.50 and I figured that though they wouldn't fit now they surely would sometime during this winter, so I got them. When I got home with them I wanted to see how far from fitting they were in order to know which box of clothes to put them in. I got a serious shock when I could actually button and zip them. They are not quite fit for public consumption yet, so I'm not calling myself an official 14 yet, but I can button them, zip them, still be able to breathe, and even bend over without popping the button or anything. I figure I'll probably be able to wear them publicly in 5-10 pounds. I was so happy that when hubby got home from work the first thing I did was run into the bedroom and put them back on to show him. Then we did a happy dance. Now I want to go through the rest of my 14s to see if any of them fit. Hubby also put more holes in my belt for me last night since even in the tightest one I could still pull pants off without undoing my belt. He gave me 4 more holes - I went straight to the second one, guess he'll have to do it again soon. When I got the thing in May it was tight when I fastened it in the first hole - now I'm in the 7th.

Wow!!!! That would feel so good! Congratulations! And here's looking for so many holes in your belt that it looks ridiculous and you have to buy a new one!

Wow Ladyrider - I was beginning to think I was the only 3FCer in AR. I'm from Florida though - been here since August 08. Hubby is stationed here.

That is so Awesome!
And I LOVE the husband support. The dancing and the belt, it made me smile. My husband has been the same way, supporting me for every little accomplishment.

That is great! And I love how supportive your husband is, that's so nice (mine is, too, and I think it makes a HUGE difference).

Isn't it a great feeling to look at a pair of pants and you think, oh, those are too small, only to find they're not?!
