Question I Must Be Stupid....What do All These Things Mean????

Ok I spend probably WAY too much time on here...LOL but people use these abbreviations or something and I can't figure out what the heck they are...

Like C25k? or P90x or something It's like were all talking in code

Can someone just brief me in on the common abbreviated things on these message boards?

C25k refers to the "Couch to 5k" workout program which trains people to go from being couch potatoes to running a 5k.

P90x is a series of workout videos.

Cheers,

J

You're not stupid! We just have our little shortcuts and sometimes we forget to explain. Your idea of having a "cheat sheet" page is a good one.

Another abbreviation you might have seen is "NSV". You may already know this one, but just in case--it means "Non-Scale Victory".

The first time I saw C25K I thought someone was taking about a 15 and a half mile run (25K).

In the way of workout programs there's also 30DS for 30 Day Shred - an exercise video by Jillian Michaels.

I couldn't figure that one out for the longest time.
