Default visible Lines forming as a result of weight loss?

Ok this is strange. For a while, I've noticed that I have a center mid line down my stomach and the flab is on the side. It is really noticeable when I bend over because the center of my stomach stays in place while the sides hang down.

Recently though, I've noticed there is a visible, reddish line going down from my breasts to my belly button!!

has anyone else had this? I am sure there is nothing to do about it other than wait it out but it is just so strange. It almost looks like I've had a surgical procedure where I was cut open.

Yes!!!! I was just noticing this the other day. Very peculiar and it does indeed look like a surgery scar (it's not that bad, though).

Maybe you should see a doctor just in case? Could it be some sort of rash?

Mine isn't a rash. It's just a definition of sorts where the skin folds.

I'm like you, Nelie. I have the center mid-line, especially when I bend over and the flab is on each side.

When I suck it my stomach while bending over, the mid-line really comes in so I think it has to do with the underlying muscles as I have been exercising quite a bit. I'm just guessing though. I just checked and I don't have the red line.

Oh it definitely isn't a rash, it is just kind of a line. It isn't raised, itchy or spotchy.

I'm glad I'm not alone though.

My guess would be that it's just the way your pigmentation settles, and you didn't see it before because the skin was all stretched out. Now it's coming back together, so it's more noticeable. I don't know for sure though.

I don't know about the red part but I have the line/indentation down the center now too - I think it just has to do with the way the fat tissue and muscles are attached. I swim a lot so I use my core way more then I used to.

I was amused when I first saw it.
