I am a little confused here. I have heard of the "dreaded second week" on the Biggest Loser... the contestants don't lose much, if any at all, and some may even gain.
Well, I feel I am in the "dreaded second week"!
Last week I lost 6 pounds, going from 209 to 203... which I thought was quite average for the first week. I was happy!

I have "dieted" enough in my life to know that it slows down after the first week and I can expect a 1-2 pound loss each week following as long as I stick to plan.
Well, I am only halfway through my second week, and the scale is fluctuating between 205-206! (I am a daily weigher) I thought possibly I had eaten too much sodium, so I have been downing water but there has been little to no change in the scale.
I have upped my exercise and I have been doing strength training so I was thinking I was retaining water in my muscles to help them heal... but I am no longer sore at all and I figured it would be gone within a day or two.
I weigh in on Sunday and I am DREADING it!!
I have stayed within my range of calories, fat, sodium, and carbs... I enter everything into thedailyplate.com it basically tells me.
I am 5'1" and weigh 205-206 currently--do you think the 1521 calories per day thedailyplate has me eating is too much? I feel good on it!
And TOM was about a week ago so that isn't a factor.
Any ideas/tips?!?!?!
Thanks!!!
