Default fat free nuts and bolts

Hi- I just made a batch of fat free nuts and bolts, or bits and bites. I substituded water and sugar for the oil, the end result is great, extra crunchy, cant notice the sugar, as it was a small amount, and all spices stuck to the cereal. So finished product calorie count is about the same as the cereals used, in my recipe about 130 cals per cup.

Default recipe

Hi - This is the recipe I used. This makes a very large roaster pan full, half a box each of shreddies, cherios, and rice chexs. half a big bag of pretzels. Take half a cup of water and add 5 tbls of worchestshire sauce,1 tbls of white sugar,1 tsp garlic powder, 1 tsp onion powder, 1 tsp seasoned salt.mix well and pour over cereal, stir until evenly coated. I baked mine at 300 for an hour, stiring about every 15 min. You want it to dry out and be crunchy.spices can be adjusted to your taste, as can cereal amounts (more of your favorite, less of another) Some people add goldfish crackers, there are no rules.
