Default busy mom ready to get fit

hello everyone! i am a 28 year old stay at home mom of a one year old and two year old. today i have decided that i am ready to take off all this baby weight! (actually i weighed less when i was pregnant but i still classify this as baby weight ) i plan to control my eating and fill any free time working out or educating myself on living a healthy life style.

i have a problem where i mindlessly eat all day and i have been trying to be more mindful of what i put in my mouth and whether or not i am truly hungry. i am also allergic to exercise. but finally today i got fed up with this allergy and decided to squeeze into some workout clothes and do a little sweating. i am sick of saying to myself "if only i had stuck to my diet and kept working out i would be in shape by now." today is a new day.

Hi and Welcome!
Check out the Exercise forum..there you will find links to the "couch to 5K" running program (C25K) It has helped MANY members here on 3FC go from a very inactive/sedentary lifestyle to being able to succesfully complete a 5K!! Many go on to bigger running goals afterwards!
Good Luck

Glad to have you join us! There are lots & lots of different groups and forums - I'm sure you'll find some that will keep you motivated, inspired and entertained!

There are lots of people here with more to lose and lots with less - the bottom line is that we all have to do it a day at a time. The good thing is that we'll have lots of company along the way.

I've only been here a few weeks myself, having NEVER been part of an online forum. What has been so eye-opening is how much it has helped me. Whenever I feel overwhelmed or defeated, I just log on and read some of the success stories, complete with their before & after photos - or read about others still dealing day to day with their challenges - and before I know it, the time has flown by and so have all the thoughts of cheating or giving up.

So welcome aboard - join in by inspiring us and being inspired!
