I am a soon to be 23 year old female from NC. I am a university student about to graduate in December. I'm 5'2.5", 140 lbs currently. Before college I hadn't experienced great distress about my weight, but since going away to school shot up from my very steady 117 lbs to my current weight. I have never really committed to a diet, having tried a couple for no more than a couple days. I am used to indulging myself food wise...with virtually no restrictions. It doesn't help that I love the "green" stuff. I very much want to establish a regular workout routine, curb my calories and adopt an all around healthier lifestyle. I have a very hard time getting motivated, but today went to the gym, did 40 minutes on the elliptical and burned about 400 calories...a good START I think. Joined the community to keep motivated and get tips. Look forward to hearing from you all!
