New... and Really Excited!!
So, I am brand new to the site, but not at all new to dieting (as it seems is true for most people here!)... I will be 21 next week and I'm ready for a change. I am already getting a little discouraged-I've been keeping my calories to 1200 a day, running an hour a day 6 days a week, doing a rotation of abs, legs, and arm workouts 6 days a week, ballet twice a week, and yoga twice a week and I don't seem to be making any progress. I am quite impatient and want my results now!! Haha! I was skinny growing up, taking ballet classes two and a half hours a day 6-7 days a week until I graduated high school. Once I started college, I ballooned up pretty quickly. I gained about 80 pounds over the course of 3 years. Now I am ready to lose it all. I'm 5 down, 75 to go, and I'm just hoping this time is the time I get serious and actually follow through. I live in a beach town, and just want to be able to go to the beach and feel comfortable in a bathing suit. I really hope that I can get some motivation from people going through the same process, and inspiration from those who have reached their goals!!
