Default Don't Blame The Cow!!!!

last night on Primetime they were featuring a story about a man who robs banks and says it is not his fault because a cow hit him----I didn't get the whole story, but I don't remember hitting him---probably Peaches did because she is so mad about being so fat.Oh well, these things happen to the dark and menopausal green-shoed bovines.----I have been roided and headached and driven to Nova Scotia with kids and back again, and right now I am exhausted----if i really had SIX kids full time, there is no question ----I would go totally INSANE----every summer I go insane---you all know that----why ask where I am,you know I am in the asylum-----stop bothering me---I am in the buffet lineup at the lunatic asylum, filling up on mashed potatoes-----have a nice summer, you mean cows----making grown men rob banks---fOR SHAME ---by the way,THANKS for the card Sugarbuns---you sound like you are having a ball in the west!!!-have a wonderful trip Kiwi and make sure you take a picture of Peachers---be sure to bring your wide angle lense-ahahahahahah that was terrible---sorry Peach---i am fatter than you so I can say whatever I want----kiwi---see if she is still wearing Pop tops like she did outside Steven King's house in Bangor-----okay,I will shut up now.

Default Don't shut up!

We love your manic ramblings! I personally love to see that someone else is driven to the edge by kids. My kids aren't even kids anymore and they drive me to the edge. My DD is going camping on monday and it's costing me $800 to get my Explorer fixed so that she can use it. Geez. I can't afford for her to go have fun.

Sugar P, you're a sweetheart to send me a postcard. Thank-you, dearie. Kiwi? Peaches? Do you have your stamps ready?

Well, I have nothing to say, so I'll just go away now.

Yahoo! I got a card! Thanks Sugar P! Looking at this card and the other one makes me seriously think about trying to move to Vancouver. What a beautiful city!

I'm so tired from my new workout rotation. The good news is, I'm back down to 186. I have a loooooong way to go.

Kiwi and Peaches! Have fun! Will you get to post pictures here or at the other place? I hope!

I gotta go. I still have to write and exercise.

So relieved to hear that the poscards are actually getting there. You never know these days. Cherry - it really looks like the pictures but they forgot to include the 2 hour traffic jams and exhorbitant cost of living.

I've come to the conclusion that the women here are either super fit, or really, really fat. Nothing in between. I have to stop shopping at Wal-Mart, I guess.

Default Toasty

that's me. I went to watch DH race on saturday and I forgot the sunblock. Oh well, what's another wrinkle or two?

We've been busy lately, I just can't remember with what.

We went to see Road to Perdition yesterday. It was a good movie, not a great movie. Paul Newman is still handsome. The theater was air conditioned. That was the best part. It's going to be 95 degrees again today.

What's up with everybody????

It's so quiet here without Kiwi and Peaches!

Wabby, I'm sorry you got sunburned. I'm still peeling from the sunburn I got in Iowa, where it still hasn't rained in the two weeks since we've been back.

Sugar P, darn- I knew there had to be a catch! Traffic? As DH says, everyone wants to live in Vancouver. Oh, well. Maybe when I'm rich, I'll keep a winter home there. Haha. About the people there... it's the same way here. Everyone is either size zero (which I figured out is probably girls' size 12) or size 22.

Hi Bagz! Where are you?

I'm still trying to work my butt off. 6 days of cardio, 4 of weights. I'm so tired! I hope I'll get used to it soon, though. I think I'm starting to get stronger. I was able to finish a tough step tape that I haven't been able to do in a couple of years. It must be the iron, now that I'm faithfully taking it every morning.

Still not losing weight. I'm wavering between doing the Zone or doing Carbohydtrate Addicts. I think Carb addicts worked for me before. I wish I could remember why I stopped.

hi kids! I'm at the beach, where I should be outside jumping the waves or riding my rented bike or taking a lovely walk or something instead of using up my phone card minutes posting here! But I just had to say hi and hope you are all surviving the heat. Well, except Bagz who I hope is surviving the teenage onslaught. Later, babes.

Default ahhhhh!!!!!

It's much cooler today.

Cherry, you are an inspiration. In haven't even been walking, much less heavy duty workouts.

The very bad news from these parts is that my walking buddy has just been diagnosed with colon cancer. She is very positive and seems to think that after a round of chemo she will be just fine. She had surgery last monday. So send positive vibes, cows.

Today is my mom's 73rd birthday so we're going out to dinner at a buffet type place, where quantity is preferred over quality. My dad picked the restaurant. I'm going to go see if I can still get Phantom of the Opera tickets for her gift. The last performance is sunday. I can't buy her stuff for her house because they're planning on moving and she's trying to get rid of possessions, not collect more. It makes it hard to buy a gift.

Bagzie, did you get my garden pictures?

Hi the rest of you cowsies. Hope everyone is having lovely vacations.

Talking no lobsters in the fridge but a lasagne in the oven

Hi darlings! Hotter than heck again here. Spent the day running around town with Mummy in her extremely embarassing red convertible. People look in expecting to see hot babes and then they see a fat chick and her mom (who weighs less than me - boo, hiss)

So sorry about your walking buddy, Wabby.

Had a wonderful lunch with some girlfriends from high school yesterday and was relieved to find out that they have not all become brain surgeons and CEOs.

Lasagne should be done by now. CU later.

I have a temporary crown on MY FRONT TOOTH so I won't be smiling at Kiwi. Also, Bagz is right. I am so fat that I drive men to rob banks. We leave tomorrow. Whatever happened to Lush? Why isn't she waving good bye to me???

Default Hot cars

Sugar P, I've been driving the recently restored '64 Volks beetle, which is possibly the cutest car on earth, and I get all kinds of attention from ppl. But they all say what a cute car it is, not how adorable I am. And we're both about the same shape, too.

'Bye Peaches, sorry you have to travel with a bum tooth.

My parents are selling their big house and moving to AZ on a permanent basis. My dad told DH that he had taken 4 dump truck loads to the dump, things my mom had stored in their basement, like all her Christmas decorations that she has collected over the years. She doesn't know and DH told me to keep my mouth shut or I'd be in the middle of WWIII. Apparently this stuff has no sentimental value to my dad, so he didn't want the hassle of moving it. I cannot tell you how my father annoys me

Sheesh, your father is annoying me, and i don't even know him!

If Peaches won't smile at me, I will simply have to make her laugh.

Going nuts with my parents at the beach,
Kiwi

Wabby, that makes me feel like crying. I LOOOOVE my Christmas decorations.

BYE PEACHES!!

Bagzie, Yep, I have air conditioning. If I didn't, I would be lying on the couch under a wet towel in front of a fan all summer. I would be useless. This from someone who never had an air conditioner until 1999.

Default Didya hear?

We had a 16 yr old girl stage her own abduction here. This girl had the police, the FBI, the whole city out searching a huge wilderness park for her. It shut down a major highway for a day - this is not a funny stunt in light of the other abductions that we've had here. Gee, I wonder if her parents will ground her?

What's the matter, Kiwi? Do you turn into a 13 yr old in the presence of your parents?
