Default Excersices to do in the house?

Where I live it's starting to get cooolld. Still not cold enough to like walk or stuff at night, but winter's going to be freakishly cold. I remember watching the "650 lb virgin" on TLC and his trainer talked about how he made up things that the guy could do at home?
I don't have the money to go to a gym (ha) and I have school during the day but no P.E classes were scheduled for this semester.
Any ideas?

I do "Walk Away the Pounds" DVDs and really enjoy them. And I have an exercise bike I love too.

For me it's my Wii all the way. Or even just getting up and dancing.

exercises you can do at home:

push ups, either standard or girly ones on knees, or against the wall.

running on the spot.
jumping jacks.
skip rope.
squats.
getting up from the chair loads of times. trust me, after a certain time, it kills.
crunches.
leg raises
you can get some light weights, and do loads of exercises with that.

also on the biggest loser (Season 7) jillian suggested using a deck of cards to exercise the number of repitions. here's a link that explains it.

bunny, I don't do gym memberships....I do however run. I began with walking. I also like the free on demand DVD's by Jillian Michaels. Even finding one of the exercise shows on FIT TV will be great if you do it daily.

I also do leg lifts and push ups, some lunges, etc. They are old school but work like a charm. Jumping rope is extremely good too.

Default 30-Day Shred

One of the best at home DVDs I've tried is Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shred. It is only 20 minutes, but it kicked my butt the first time I tried it. Be aware that it does have a lot of jumping, so if your knees are bad, this probably isn't for you, but it is a great workout.

Yes, to me Leslie Sansone DVDs are worth it and definitely worth at the least trying them out.

Ditto.

I find them easy to follow, but they can always make me sweat. It is easy enough to modify on your own, harder or easier, and still follow along with the DVDs.
