I figured this was coming (he had been all over the media and photographed outside his home frequently, lots of statements about his condition, and lots of interviews...they had all died down in the past month or so, and I thought that was probably a bad sign) but was so sad to see it confirmed. What a talented man. RIP.

Yeah, he maybe wasn't the best actor in the world but I sure loved him. I watch Dirty Dancing every chance I get, and my boys still love the movie "Red Dawn" that he starred in years ago. He seemed like such a good guy in his interviews.

That is a super well put together news story - I guess they've had it ready to go since his diagnosis (/cynical off).

I loved him, Dirty Dancing and Ghost were wonderful, not to mention The Outsiders and Red Dawn!
