Default My favorite running song

I'm just recently back to running. I started C25K in May but got sidelined in mid-June with a nasty couple months of asthma (booo!!!). I kept up with the walking throughout July and August, and just last night I started jogging again. I did C25K last night, but tonight I decided to shake things up with a running playlist I made a few months ago.

Oh. My. Gosh. I unknowingly put a really good running song on it! It's called "Saving Grace" by Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. I really got my groove on and was already running from the previous song, but this one really does it for me and I was able to run through the whole thing. I need more songs like this! What's your favorite?

Wow, I think you guys are a lot more hip than I am, LOL. I've only heard of a couple of those but I'm always up for new music. The new Green Day CD that I bought has several songs that I think would be good for running so I might try to mix things up a little bit with that.

This is my current running list...it will work for a few more weeks, then I will have to go through my library and mix things up again.

Van Halen - Love Walks In
Rob Thomas - Her Diamonds
Peter Gabriel - Solsbury Hill
Nickelback - Gotta Be Somebody
Nickelback - If Today Was Your Last Day
Tom Petty - Here Comes My Girl
Pete Townshend - Let My Love Open the Door
Pink - Please Don't Leave Me
Kings of Leon - Use Somebody
ELO - Hold On Tight
Coldplay - Viva la Vida
The Rolling Stones - You Can't Only Get What You Want
The Who - Baba O'Riley

I put my ipod on random play so I never know what is coming next on the list.
