Kity - its was like your post was meant for me today, I SO needed to read this. I have been diligently trying my hardest to get in shape for a wedding this month, so I decided to really buckle down in the weight loss department. I omitted all things "white" and eat up to 10 servings of fruits and veggies a day, etc...etc...etc. Anyway, I also upped my exercise level, I go to the gym for an hour 5 days a week, do the 30 DS everyday and run 2 miles every freakin day. No slacking, I go in whole heartedly. Well, week 1...I gain a pound...week 2....I gain 2 pounds! WHAT?! This cant be possible! How is this so, Im exercising my tail off and not cheating AT ALL, how can I be gaining weight?! So, today I hop on the scale...at what does the flippin thing say....I gained AGAIN. Grrrr....I was so beyond frustrated I went on a carb binge this morning, eating 1 mini donut and 2 mini bagels with 2 boiled eggs (they are having a breakfast bake sale at work) - OH, and 2 glasses of OJ. So, as I sit here in shame and bloated I start reading your post...god, I SO needed this. Thank you for giving me hope, back to my regular "scheduled program", lol. Good luck getting to your goal!
