Default Kick in the......

I've decided I've been playing around long enough time to buckle down and get serious again. Since the beginning of May I have been bouncing between 313 and 320 still have maintained a loss but I'm tired of this. Went out tonight and bought me healthier "snack" foods since I seem to munch around the house a lot. Also bought bottled water instead of my coke, and oooh the new vanilla coke I love it but I am determined to cut back. I weighed in this morning at 318.5 so I'll take that as my starting weight for the week. Good luck to everyone else!

Good luck and remember we are all here for you so if you're feeling down don't hesitate to post, or even if your feeling wonderful too.

Also care to spill it about what kinds of healthy snacking food you bought?

LOL nothing that exciting, sugar free gelatin cups (premade, I'm lazy), baked Lay's chips, angel food cake-fresh strawberries-fat free whipped cream (yummy strawberry shortcake), fresh fruit, popsicles, and pretzels.

I'm on the "get serious" train today too. The last four days were not OP so today WILL be.

Strangely (or not) when I blow it, I'm still not blowing it big time the way I would have two months ago.

Anyway, it was Slimfast for breakfast and now I'm off to the pool. I did pool it three times last week and got in a really good (for me) walk yesterday. RESTED A LOT over the weekend so should be ready for action for the week.

Fingers crossed.

Good week, All.

How about a healthy fast food meal?
One I like is Wendy's small chili (210 cal) and a side salad with no dressing (60 cal). It's a $2 meal on the run, and doesn't leave you feel like you've got grease oozing out of your pores.

This morning I made ff apple cinnamon muffins.. 130 calories .. 2 grams of fiber. Yummy!
snacks are my weakness. I could skip all my meals and just eat snacks

I think the fact that we are all here posting after a long weekend is success! I really did my share of damage too :O but I did say no to fried cheese curds and home made onion rings at the flea market by my MILs - these used to be a must have! I don't want to imagine how many points they would be!

Can I hop on this train too? I was doing really well, and seeing a loss on the scale. BUT then came along 4th of July and I used that as a perfect excuse to drink, eat and do whatever I wanted. Errr. Couldn't be "normal" and just treat myself on the 4th. Had to last the 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th!! Am back now and determined! Wedding at the end of this month, sis from Cali is coming home next month..and so on. I am tired of bouncing between the same numbers too.

Here's to us...being consistent.

Welp, I'm here too, not going to make b-day goal, but heck, that don't mean I have to gain, right? I'm having an awful breakfast right now, lol, but I'm getting my evil food out of the way early, so I have plenty of time to burn it off...lol my saving grace is that I HAVE started working out again...sooo, that should speed me back up, huh?

Wink Count me in!

Yep, it's definitely time for some seriousness on my part, as well. Today wasn't too bad a day -- I could have done a little better this evening, and I still haven't reached my water intake for the day -- but tomorrow is a new day and I am definitely trying to do better with each passing day --

I have already felt a lot of great support and encouragement from you folks and I just want to say thanks already --

now onto that serious wagon!! Time for me to be strong, one day at a time.

Doesn't it always happen this way? I did pretty well over the 4th, lost a pound, lived with my In-Laws lying around my house for a week. They left yesterday, and I was so happy to be able to lie around my own house that I did - and ate everything I could get my hands on I had a stomach ache by the time I went to bed.

So, tomorrow I'm back to writing everything down for a couple of weeks. Not today, because I'm having to fast until they do my bloodwork at noon, and DH is leaving for a business trip today, so I'll be too busy getting him to the airport to stuff my face (I hope). There are things to be proud of - I got in a good bit of water yesterday, and did a bit of yard work so as to move my butt.

I still haven't figured out how to stop a bad day, but I'm hoping this one day doesn't turn into a whole week

I do the same thing (have a bad day so why not extend it to two or three days??) I seem to do this every holiday. I did gain a pound from doing this on the 4th, but I have lost it again. If only I hadn't done it I could be another pound less!! Oh well.

I wanted to add some of my favorite healthy snacks: fruit with low fat cool whip or veggies with low fat dressing. Also high fiber and high protein cereal fills you up without filling you out. I really like Kashi GO LEAN crunch. Also, cottage cheese is high in protein and when you have it with some Wasa crackers, it's yummy.
