Hello!! I was planning to join this site only to realize I had already made an account 4 years earlier (!!) Apparently I didn't stick to my diet 4 years ago
So, my name is Kit and I'm in a really "good" place (finally) to get started on a diet program.
I would like to lose 50 pounds, I'm 5' 9" tall and currently weigh 215, my highest weight was 275. After seeing a picture of myself on Christmas morning 2007 I realized I had to make some drastic changes!! I've been kind of stuck at the 215 mark for the past 6 months or so and want to really get my weight loss in-gear again.
Some background about me: I'm 34, a biology professor, I have two beautiful kids (Nolan, 8 and Anya, 3)....and believe it or not I'm currently planning to run a 1/2 marathon in mid-October. I'd love to lose 15 pounds before the race simply so I can run better, the extra weight IS a burden when running.
