Should have done this long ago
I have been a member for quite a while, but haven't frequented the board much until lately.
My story is that about 3 years ago, I lost about 45 pounds. I didn't quite make it to my goal. I would haved liked to have lost about 5 or 10 more. I was on my way, though. I was working out and "eating clean". Then, some medical issues got in the way (female related). I did still work out a little, but it had to be less intense and after my procedure, I have gradually been getting back into the swing of things. I will say I have put on about 5 pounds, but I am working hard to get those off.
So.................where I am now is that I am finishing up week 6 of ChaLEAN Extreme and I am planning to do a 16-week rotation of this. I haven't lost any weight on this yet, but I think most of that is going to happen in the last few weeks of this rotation. I am not giving up. I eat pretty clean, but it isn't going to be easy for me. I have always struggled with carrying a few extra pounds, so it just isn't going to be easy and it isn't going to happen overnight. Also, I purchased the Body Bugg and it is supposed to arrive today. I need to know what's going on with my body. I have a desk job and I don't get up much during the day. I do my ChaLEAN in the mornings and am trying to work in some walks during my lunch break (at least 4 a week for 45 minutes at a time). When you sit at a desk all day, you sure aren't burning many calories.
I would LOVE LOVE LOVE any suggestions anyone might have.
Thanks,
Gin
