Default My doctor said so

I went to the "girly" doctor on Friday to talk about fertility issus and, as expected, my weight was a large part of that discussion. My doctor suggested that I spend 6 months to a year losing weight before trying to have another baby because it would be best not only for my own health but for that of a baby. She said the only thing she has seen work time and time again is...drum roll...Weight Watchers! I told her I was already on plan and had been for about 4 weeks. She said that was good and continue on because she has seen the program work wonders for other women who want to lose weight.

So, if you are ever wondering if you made the right choice to follow WW then you have. My doctor said so.

Of course there are other things out there that work but I just felt validated in some way that I was on the right path and that felt good.

Yay! Good! I'm a newbie to WW Online (since April 5, 09). I cannot say enough good things about it!

I've lost 35 pounds and I am a certified FOOD ADDICT who doesn't like to cook. I've survived this long and I'm going strong!

I will suggest WW Online to anyone and everyone!

I've also heard people say their doctors recommended WW. I think it's the best thing out there - there's no restriction, there's no weird eating involved, no phases to follow. Just eat healthy, be aware, and get support!

Thanks for sharing!

I'm sort of in the same boat as you by the way. I have two babies and somehow, two years after having the second, I weighed about as much as I weighed right before I gave birth to him. We want to have another baby, and I'm not sure if fertility is a problem at this point because we haven't tried, but I definitely want/need to lose weight before I consider another pregnancy. I find it hard physically when I am pregnant so the better shape I am in going into it, the better. And hopefully I will not completely let myself go the next time around once I have fully adopted the healthy lifestyle changes promoted by WW.

Good luck, I hope everything works out for you!
