I was curious to know if anyone stops eating after a certain time?
You hear various things in the news that you should stop eating 3 hours before bedtime. I'm know sure how much truth there is to weight gain+eating later...but I'm curious if anyone stops eating after a certain time?
As far as weight gain goes it's a myth. However if you are prone to indigestion that's another issue I usually stop around 8:15 (fudgie with TDS) because anything after that has the stones int he belly effect for me.
I usually dont eat after i would say 6 or 6:30, its not a hard and fast rule I have its just when I am hungry for dinner . I usually dont eat another bite till bed but I sometimes will have a piece of fruit or something small.
I usually eat a snack around 8pm then stop due to longstanding heartburn issues more than anything. (Which I haven't had near as much after losing weight & eating SB.)
I pay no attention to that idea. I eat whenever I want and almost always have yogurt or something similar about 9 or 10 or so. I usually go to bed 10 or 11.
We eat dinner at 6. Since week 3-4 on SB I'm not hungry after dinner so I don't eat. I think alot has to do with my blood sugar not spiking any more. 3-4 times a week I'll have a sf fudgesicle, but that's about it. I'm just not feeling any urges to munch.
I eat about 30 mins to an hour before going to bed. Doesn't seem to have affected my ability to lose weight. It does, however, keep me from raiding the kitchen if I can't sleep.
You know one of the things I love about SBD is that its not rule bogged...That idea of not eating so many hours before eating was one that Oprah said she used...Sorry that is just one more stress on me...
I usually have my little dessert before bed...some s/f jello with kw, a little yogurt, a milk...
I am so happy with the way SBD allows me to live like a normal person...
VIVE SBD!!!
