Adaem, it really helps me to have a specific date at which I'll be back on Phase 1 (and plan ahead for it: shopping, meal planning, etc.) when I'm going to go off plan. When you think about going off plan, think about the work and effort of doing P1 to detox, and weigh whether it's really worth it. Most of the time, it's not.
Figure out what excuses you make, write them down, and then write down realistic responses to each--why they aren't a big enough excuse. Post it somewhere you can easily see.
The
food journal my nutritionist has me using asks me to write down my goals each week. Then it asks me what might get in the way of those goals, and how I plan to handle those situations. It's a great way to guide your thinking so you are prepared for the excuses before they show up.
