Default Well...I need a little motivation

So I have started using WonderSlim (its like medifast-shakes and such) And for some reason its so hard for me to stay motivated...I actually did really good today...I did not cheat once!! But I wanted to so badly so many times! I just kept having to think about all the things I want to do once I no longer weigh as much as two people! We (my Feionce) have several vacations planned, with in the next six months...four to be exact, Wisconson Dells, for our anniversary in November...I would love to be a size smaller then! (swim suits and all) North Carolina in Jan/Sept? Thats still up in the air and its only to see his fam...and three other trips in '10 in Feb, March, and April...Disney, Vegas, and Mexico...so needless to say I should have a lot of motivation...but for some reason I just feel emo all the time...although thinking about it I do feel a little happier today then I normally feel...I even cleaned the stairs to my room...which I never do! (they seem to attract all the things nobody else knows what to do with lol) I don't know I just need to rant to somebody...my mom thinks dieting is stupid and always wants me to do it tomorrow...and my Feionce is a truck driver and gone all the time, and thinks I look fine and dieting is a waste of time...lol I tend to disagree I always tell him "I may be pretty but I am still fat!" So in all sorry for the rant! I just needed to get this all out....I feel better now...a little...lol

Just keep in mind that you'll probably have to change your plan several times along your journey. Choose plans that you feel you can really stick with, and don't be afraid to adjust if you get bored or if you are feeling too deprived. All those trips sound amazing........... Just remember, it's almost inevitable to fail a few times (or more)...... It happens to all of us pretty much. The most important thing is to jump back into it and keep going! Good luck.

I know what you mean. I always remind myself it doesn't matter how many times I fail, or how many days I go over as long as I keep trying. As long as I get back on it. Its all about perseverance not perfection. You can do it!

Hey good for you for trying that. I can't stick to anything that strict, I just have no discipline, so kudos to you But like Kimmie said, you may change plans a few times until you find something that works for you. That's why I like WW, I can eat whatever I want as long as it fits in my points for the day.

Losing weight/being healthier is about what you want - if you aren't happy with the way you are, then go for it, don't rely on what your fiance and mom say - its *your* life.

i must agree. If I follow something that strict, I'll be off that wagon for good within a week.

I don't follow WW, but I do do portion control. i eat what I like, but in smaller meals. And I don't eat as much bad stff as before. If I want ice-cream, i have a small bowl.

remember we are all only human, and sometime you will fail, just keep on truckin' and in the end you'll get the results you want.

I try to just remember I can still eat some good things, it's just about moderation! There will be days where I don't want to workout and I just want to be lazy, but then I try to remember what I am working for it makes me get up and move around. My dad always tells me "You didn't put it all on in a day and you're not going to lose it all in a day." Whenever I feel like eating something I don't need to be eating I just call my boyfriend(who is my wonderful support group) and I tell him to tell me I'm not hungry. Tell me I don't want food. He is going to become my grocery shopping buddy when I go back to school because that always seems to be my place of downfall. Just remember that it may be horrible now, but in a few months it'll be worth it.
