I'm new, 21, been overweight most my life, and figured I would always be overweight until I got a job at a Humane Society and lost 15 pounds. Then moved back home and with mom's home cooking, gained 20lbs.
So now I'm on the path of losing weight again, I want to be healthy and not have so many problems that I have.

Whoa! First of all welcome. Second of all, you pinpointed a MAJOR obstacle in your journey. You have to get the "mamma's food making me gain" under control. Arm yourself by knowing what you are eating and how many calories and how many you actually need.

good job on your previous loss of 15 lbs. Just the idea you did it before motivates you to do it again!

Welcome!!! Surf around and settle in! We have forums based on age, eating plan, exercise and more!

Check out the 20 something forum!

Are you living at home at this time? Maybe you could split the shopping and cooking to balance out your calories over the week. Home cooking....yumm....can be very healthy with some tweaking. Good luck!
