Default Suggest me some awesome workout songs!

I'm not picky, any songs that have a great beat and get you going are welcome!

Me too + anything by Lady Gaga and Avril Lavigne's "Girlfriend" - the beat is perfect for pounding the pavement (or dreadmill) or even using the rowing machine.

I would not be admitting any of this in the real world

Lately, I put on the 80s music channel, on the home tv. But I know a lot of people here are looking for specific songs for the ipod ... But still, consider that there are some pumped-up 80s songs!

Here are some of mine:

Get the Party Started - Pink
Single Ladies - Beyonce
Never Going Back to Ok - The Afters (I think the song is about a relationship, but to me it's about a relationship with food!)
Booty Voodoo - Lee Coulter (an ode to sexy butts!)
Whine Up - Kat DeLuna
I'm Not Over - Carolina Liar
Into the Morning - The Weekend
How Far We've Come - Matchbox 20 (very inspiring towards the end of a workout)
I've Got the Music in Me - Kiki Dee Band
Watch Me Move - Fefe Dobson
Hips Don't Lie - Shakira
Gotta Work - Amerie
Holding Out for a Hero - Bonnie Tyler
Check Yes Juliet - We The Kings
Cobrastyle - Teddybears featuring Mad Cobra
Lala - Ashlee Simpson
Deceptacon - Le Tigre (bad language!)
Shake Your Pom Pom - Missy Elliot
Bounce With Me - Kreesha Turner
My Big O (I Can) - Johanna Stahley (theme to Ruby)
Spice Up Your Life - The Spice Girls
Shake It - Metro Station
Ain't Nothing Wrong With That - Robert Randolph & The Family Band (very stompy!)
When Your Heart Stops Beating - +44
Can't Stop Moving - Sonny J
Move It Like This - Baha Men
Here It Goes Again - OK Go
All of the Above - Big City Rock
I Don't Wanna Be in Love - Good Charlotte
Too Much Booty In the Pants - 2 Live Crew
Somebody Told Me - The Killers
Stronger - Kanye West
The Cheeky Song - The Cheeky Girls
Crushcrushcrush - Paramore
Whenever Wherever - Shakira
Let's Get it Started - Black Eyed Peas
Higher Ground - Red Hot Chili Peppers (good cool down song)
Remember the Name - Fort Minor

Heh, it's not for one workout - it's just my workout playlist. I re-order it all the time to hear certain songs!

I second WhitePicketFences' suggestion for the 80's. Scandal, Pat Benetar, Joan Jett, etc... really work for me.

You can't go wrong with Rocky's theme song, "Eye of the Tiger", that song gets me pumped every time I hear it.
