I used to do Zumba three times a week and I loved every minute of it. Then my routine was brought to halt by plantar fasciitis. So no Zumba for me for another half a year, and I hate not being able to go to my Zumba classes. I may go this Thursday, foot or no foot, I just like it too much.
I cannot tell you whether I lost because to me Zumba was just part of my exercise regimen but I am sure it helped. It's an awesome calorie-burning exercise and so much fun!
Make sure you wear the right type of shoes - dance sneakers make it much easier as you can slide in them.
