Talking So I peaked....

I just couldn't help myself! I really tried to stay away from the scale. I even put the thing under my bed where I couldn't reach it (i'm 5 footish and so my arms aren't that long). Needless to say, this morning on a whim I got the broom and out came the scale. I'm down 4 lbs since last week! WOOOOOHOOOOOOO! I can't believe it! I was sure that it hadn't moved but instead 4 whole lbs!!!!

I just hope that I wont gain by my weigh in Thursday!!!

For me, the best motivation is to see that it's working!

I weigh myself everyday and my leader is always yelling at me to get rid of the scale but I feel the same way about the motivation. I actually found a article in prevention magazine this month that says that people who are dieting and weigh themselves everyday actually lose more weight. I cut out the article and I am going to show it to her next time she yells LOL

I weigh everyday too. I think it is a personality thing. Some people get stressed about the daily ups and downs, and others find it motivating. We each have to find out whatever works for us!

Whatever works for you. I had to get rid of my scale, because I was too obsessive.I would get on it about 5 times a day.:And even though I know there are going to be flunctuations ,it drove me crazy!

Congratulations!! That's a great loss!! I can't help peaking also. My weigh in day is Monday and by Wednesday it's killing me to see. So I do it.

I weight myself every morning

It keeps me thinking 'if its up, I can exercise more today' or I can eat better, to see the results tomorrow...if only it worked that fast!!!

Yay! That is fabulous. I weigh every single morning. I see nothing wrong with it. I don't tend to get discouraged if I don't see a loss. I did "chart" for a while to see when my weight went up or if there was a pattern. I learned it went up during ovulation and at start of cycle.

You won't regain before Thursday. Stick to whole foods and lots of water and you will be fine! FINE!

Oooh! Yay for you! Four pounds. WOW.

Yeah, I have my WI tonight (this is week one!), but I check my weight every morning. I'll post my "real" WI results on the Thursday Weigh In board.

Congrats! That's great!
The best motivation for me is also seeing how well this plan is working for me!
